Ahh, finally some free time I can spare to continue writing in this blog. *Sigh of relieve* Been really busy recently; started my internship and also attended some courses: BDT. Actually it's not that I am not free, it's just that I am not that good in managing time or that I can say that I have wasted most of my free time playing games and for entertainment. I seriously need a change by now, at least reduce the time for entertainment. I am sure if I'm able to do so, later on in my life I wouldn't regret so much. Actually I need not to feel guilty much because it is really okay for us, youth to be lazy! It's really normal and common among people of my age. ha. ha.
After being in this world for 2 decades, not much things I have learned but well, it should be good enough because I can still survive today! Lol, actually it's my parents who supported me all these years. What I should worry about is actually my life in the coming decades. Life is a process, people say. We came to this world, live our life and grow old and eventually meet the end of our life. How many of us will take our time to plan for our future? Rarely there are people at my age really think about their future; what are they going to be in the future. It is true, because our mind are more and more being influenced by how the current society works. We as youngsters have to spend our time enjoy our youth so that we can have a good memory in the future because when we're old enough to work in the society, we've got no time to create some anymore, busy working for someone else! That's the common perception in people nowadays, or I should say the norm that most of us are practicing.
After being 'normal' like others for so many years, something came to me. Something that until today I still couldn't have my full trust in it. I'm still doubting about it. Actually it shouldn't be the matter to me anymore, whether to believe or not because I want and I know what I really want in the future. It's not as blur as I was anymore. Like seriously, I've never ever thought of my dream, anymore.
When we are still kid, we know that our dreams, knowing what we want but what happens as we grow up? Thinking of becoming a doctor, driving a nice car and living in a luxurious house. All of those have slowly fade from our mind. Why are we not able to dream of those things anymore? It's just that we've known more about the world, the society and also the reality. We are no longer dare to think much anymore because most of us know that we are living in a world that is ruled by the rule of 80-20. It simply means that 80% of the people's wealth are controlled by the 20% of the population. The poor ones are getting poorer and the rich ones are getting richer. It seems that the reality we are living in today is actually blurring the line which separates the rich and poor ones. In other words, the number of people who are of average income or living in an average lifestyle are actually diminishing.
Well, sorry for being so long-winded. Ha. ha. After so many paragraphs, I still haven't get into the main point. Actually i'm trying to create the suspense in you! wahaha. The things I'm trying to say, I will be writing in the next post. I think that's all for today. haha. Seriously, my apology for being so annoying! :P
Before I end my post, I'd like to share with you something that I've done for myself, my Dream chart!! :D It's still fresh btw 8)

The Reality.
Well, some slight intro about my newly created blog:
First of all, thanks for the effort of getting into my blog. The main reason the blog is created is because of the intention to share more about my thought on future life. I've currently got involved into a simple business. Getting into this business, has never been of my thought because I've always been thinking 'traditionally' and following the norm, of which the way that most of the people would go. I have 'zero' knowledge in this field and was always thinking to work really hard and do well in exams so that I can get a good job. You know, what parents been telling us since young, "Study hard, getting into the University, get a better certificate/qualification and when you comes out, you'll get a good job". Well, most of the parents tell us that but has any one really tell you the next sentences?
I'd do the favor then. "Getting a good job" has always been the 'fullstop' to the whole paragraph, until you are actually in that state, you will know what's coming next.
What do they really mean by getting a good job? It means that when you have pursued your Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree(Oh well, how many of us would take it?), you get into a good company getting a job with good pay. Oh, by the way, let me tell you the world's leading jobs; Actuary is currently the world best job, followed by Biomedical and next would be Software engineers. [http://www.careercast.com/jobs-rated/best-jobs-2013] It would be great if you're enrolling in any of these courses but if you're not, need not to be too worried because you will have your chance too if you did really well in your Bachelor Degree. (Just if and only if you really did well!)
However, to get a place in this society, we're no longer able to survive easily with just a Bachelor's Degree. Everywhere, there is a Degree holder. To be more realistic, results actually matters more than a qualification today. The world has changed a lot since the 90's. Back then, having a Bachelor Degree's qualification could easily give you a bright future, also your result need not to be the best, you can have more priority than the rest.
What about today? and what if I tell you the basic salary for a fresh grad is only around MYR 2k on average? According to report from "http://myjobstreet.jobstreet.com/career-enhancer/basic-salary-report.php", we can see that the range of salary for a fresh grad is just around 2k. Let's see the pictures below for more exact values. I'd like to start with IT because I'm currently enrolling my Bachelor Degree of the same field.

Secondly, I'd like to go with Accounting because of its popularity!
#2
Lastly, I'd like to put Engineering. Well, it's a tough course, it deserves a better salary!
#3
Apparently, from the images we can see that the average salary for fresh/Entry Level ranges from 1.5k to 2.5k and for Senior Managers, we can get from 10k to 15k monthly. It sure sounds great to have such amount in your bank account monthly, isn't it?
Question arises, how LONG you will need to climb up to the position? How MUCH time you need to spend working for the same position? How MANY people are going for the same position? Are you sure that you would be the one getting to that position? You see for yourself. For the lucky ones, they might be able to get up to that place in like, 10 Years? Alright, to be fair, let say you're the lucky one, you got into the position that many people wanted, so what? To be realistic again, to earn more, you will have to invest your time into your main career. I am sure that you, as the CEO of the company for instance, you would not have much time for your family because you will have to administrate the working of the company and handling big projects. How much time can you really spend with your own family, or friends? We are actually making ourselves busy in return of getting a good pay. What's the point of earning so much when you can't spend it nicely? It's not that you cannot choose but the company needs you, and you have to morally hold the responsibility as a CEO. How long more you would like to be like this? Most of the people are actually going through the process of working, it's a ongoing repeating process that people practice daily and they actually do not remember the dreams they always had when they were kids, anymore. Well, the illustration below explains it all, the process of a working man:
Being able to get to that position, sure you're great because you serve your employee and company really excellent that your Employer is actually offering you the place and you must have a really good qualification that you're able to get til that high. You see, our education is actually teaching us how to be a good employee! Getting a good result to serve your company and employer. Who earns the most? Definitely it won't be you, as long as you're working under them.
That's why people always say that the job that gives you wealth in fastest way is always building your own business. However, it also comes along with the risk building own business. Having your own business, let say it's a very big business, what would happen if economy crisis strikes the world once more? I couldn't guarantee you much. I'm not trying to be contradictory here, it's just that we have to choose wisely and be more careful in selecting your path. You will have to be smart too in building your own business because everything you have built, it might fall into scraps again in just a day time if economy crisis really comes to kiss your ass.
What can you do about your future then? It's sure a blurry path for many of us because we are all still young (I'm referring to gen-Y anyway), it's just the matter of time and whether opportunity is given. Coming to an end, I would like to share some interesting facts that I've found on the Internet. The article with the title: How to Survive With Salary RM3000 In Malaysia. There's nothing much can tell but to see illustration, again.
Sekian, thank you!
